As I was browsing through pictures looking for what image i could use for my essay, I came across quite a few pictures of 3D artwork that’s actually drawn with chalk on sidewalks. The person who took this picture is trying to show how imaginative some artists are. I think it’s very difficult to draw something like this and make it look so realistic. There are many 3D images that look a lot better, but i liked this one in particular because of the little girl standing on the edge of the building. I find it funny how she bends over as if she was trying to look down from the top of the building. It left me wondering how realistic these drawings may be.

WEEK 10 REBLOG

When I look at this picture it reminds me of sociology. The little girl standing on the edge because to her it looks like if she walks any further she might fall in! The age that children learn depth perception is like toddler, and this girl is young, I’m not sure exact age. This chalk drawing is very elaborate. The artist did a spectacular job! I really had to look at this picture for a few seconds to figure out it was not real. I think this will make a great paper!

I think that this drawing had a lot of work put into it. At the top it shows certain clothing companies and many skyscrapers. The most funny thing I observed was the little girl standing on the drawing and looking down as if it was real. It shows how young and naive children are today. They will believe almost anything that anyone tells them and that is supported by her looking down upon the picture. Another thing I believe the artist was trying to convey is how people do not really notice things in life. People have to make bold statements if they want something to be noticed or to be taught.

This is a really cool picture. All the different colors and the 3D is amazing. I like the logo’s because it gives it a new york feel. The little kid is looking down like she wants to dive in all the coolness. I see little cars at the bottom and streets. Im thinking this is meant to be New York, or mabye a major city. The 3D is unique because i havent seen alot of paintings in 3D. All in all great picture with lots of texture, and so on!

Ok so thanksgiving was pretty interesting in my family. First of all Thanksgiving is a time of love and thankfulness right? Your suppose to love your family and be happy that your surrounded by them along with great food. Well in my family its different. I go to my dads house, and  then my mothers. At my fathers i just love dealing with my wonderful stepmom, and sweet little baby sister. Well that last sentence was a complete lie. My stepmom is super annoying and my baby sister cries entirely too much. But i deal with it and put on a happy smile. My moms is actually fun, and i get too eat with all her family. This thanksgiving break has been wonderful. Its just the homework is hard to rememeber. I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed thanksgiving as well. :)

This article is about teenage girls actually trying to get pregnant. It shows how the mothers of these girls feel, and allows an open chatroom for people to discuss it. In the chatroom their seems to  be a general agreement that teen girls shouldn’t try to take this path, and if I were in their position I’d feel the same way. It seems like such an odd situation to me, because I’ve never met a teenage girl that wanted a baby.All of the girls I know spend a good deal of time making sure they avoid it. I don’t understand why anybody would want to have a baby so early in life. It would make so much more sense to wait until your done with high school at the very least. Or ideally, go to college and get a decent career started so you have something to build on and give your family a good life and aren’t on welfare struggling for money.

Wow! This is pretty much unbelievable.  I read the article and it talkes about teens actually trying to get pregnant. If i were to find out that one of my little sisters was trying to do that, I would react just like the angry mother’s did on this article. This is just trying to let parents know whats going on right now and to really take care of their little girls. I mean, teenagers having babies, that’s something that just isn’t right. They know nothing about raising a child. The waking up in the middle of the night, the money that one spends, and basically throwing away your young years to raise that child. It’s something that needs a lot more thought to it. It’s not something we can re-do. Once a baby is born, we have to take responsibility for him/her.

WOW! That was the first word out of my mouth. I cannot believe there are girls out there trying to get pregnant. My mom would have reacted like the ladies in the article. She once told me she would kick me out of the house if I got pregnant. It is so true what they said about them trying to get pregnant because they are missing something at home or in their lives. I have a cousin that just got pregnant and I know she did it because she did not receive the attention she needed from her parents. I think most girls do it to get attention. We need to teach the girls and boys in school the responsibilities of having a baby and tell or show them how hard it is to raise a baby.

Wow. These girls are absolutley rediculous. There girls have no idea what there getting themselves into. Coming from a family were every girl in my family has gotten pregnant before they graduate highschool this is dissappointing. Noone in my family planned them they just happened. The everyday struggles of a baby is unthinkable to women who don’t have kids. I personally don’t have a baby, but i see how my cousins struggle and it makes me wanna do better. I pray these girls come to realize life isnt easy with a baby. Sometimes it takes having one to see the real side of motherhood.

week 9?

This is a picture of trey songz. He is an amazing song writer and singer. He’s super attractive if you can’t tell. Well i made this post because, trey songs soothes me and helps me write my english papers. Its funny I know but this paper thats due tomorrow is stumping me. Trey’s singing is helping me think and come up with new idea’s! This is a hard paper to write and im still not done. Anyways trey has been around for about 5 years now and he’s changed alot of the r&b scene. He takes songs and makes them his own, by adding his own lyrics. He’s really starting to earn respect and I’m happy for him. I saw him in concert, and met him at a club and both experiences were great! He’s a sweet person despite his fame. I hope that everyone will enjoy the picture jus like i did! :)

WEEK 8

I always use Google as my main source of internet searching.  I also always notice when their normal logo is changed. I love how they have festive themes around the holidays. I think that Google has stuck with this because it makes them stand out. Like right now, Google Doodle as it is called has Sesame Street themed logo. It is because it is Sesame Street’s 40th anniversary this month.  I think it is a great idea, I would have never known it was Sesame Street’s 40^th anniversary if it had not been for Google. This is a picture of the first one it is Big Bird. But they have different ones everyday for the month of December.

I forgot all the cool Google Doodles that Google had.  I have the Google Chrome desktop, so I never go on Google anymore; I just type in what I want to search in the url box and it works better than typing it in on Google.  I always love the different ones that they have for particular days or seasons.  Like what Erica said, this is something that causes Google to stand out and make it completely different than other search engines such as Yahoo.  This just shows that little things like this is what puts Google in the position that it is at as the most popular search engine on the internet.

So i love sesame street, i mean who doesnt? we grew up with it. Google did a good job of celebrating the characters. This is a reason why google is such a huge site, and it makes impacts on alot of people. They do things to support holidays, and are creative. There always thinking of new idea’s too keep google fresh, and exciting. I have the G1 which is a google phone and it is amazing. I have google search right on my screen, which gives me access to all the google perks. I even have a google account. Honestly this post just made me appreciate google alot more. Companys are coming out with more search engines, such as BING but im pretty sure none of them will compare to google.

This is a picture of Miles Austin, a new and upcoming player for the Dallas Cowboys. Austin is very talented and him an romo are a force to be reckoned with. Austin seems like a fun, caring, and playful guy. The cowboys seem too be doing good this year, and mabye we can make it to the playoffs, but im not expecting a superbowl or anything like that. I was hoping they would step it up this year with the new stadium and all. Speaking of the new stadium, the traffic is so hectic. I came home for the weekend and i couldnt get anywhere! I don’t even no why they put the stadium in that area, it was a dumb idea, but jerry jones seems to produce those. Yea im not a big jerry jones fan. I think he’s vindictive and he’s only out for himself. Anyways i hope you enjoy the picture of my future husband :)

I think everyone should know about this movie now. Yes, Paranormal Activity. The scariest movie of the decade by far. In my opinion, it can only be compared with “The Blair Witch Trials” in the sheer amount of terror it can scare out of people. In this regard, I think the director succeeds far beyond his or anyone elses his expectations. I think the best and the most original thing he did was using no music for the movie. Alot of the times, directors will use music to lead up to a climactic moment, but in this movie, he keeps it a complete surprise. It’s genius!

 this movie was so scary. Honestly i still can’t sleep by myself. I wouldnt call it the scariest movie of all time, but its up there. I went with my friend tunisia, and she was no help. Certain parts of the movie were just to scary to watch, and i couldnt handle them. I suggest this movie to people who believe in things like ghost and paranormal things. its a physcological thriller that will have you scared to sleep. All in all i give this movie a two thumbs up, but i suggest you dont go see it with someone just as scary as you!

First of all, Im in love with this picture. Second of all, Im jealous of the editors skills. I love the movement of this picture how it actually looks like he is about to jump out of this photograph onto the streets. Also, the lighting technique and the breaking up of his body into fragements at the knee and ankles, it makes him seem almost “god like”. This type of work is what makes me love art and the future of technology, how we can use a computer and tablet to manipulate photographs into works of art not thought possible 10 years ago. I hope I can future my photoshop skills into something like where I can work for clients creating their visions into works of art. I choose this picture mainly because this is what I want my goal to be at this level and possibly even further.

I also like this photo a lot. I did something like this with one of my pictures but got bored and really didn’t finish the details.On my own I just cut out a bunch of pieces and then pulled it away from the picture so it looks like its disintegrating. ON this one  I like the lines with the glow effect he or she added. It looks like he might have morphed some water at the bottom of the shoes.I like the way he or she made the disintegrating effect where it looks more three dimensional.It is rather good.

   ok so this picture is pretty great! the color splash, and the guy in the air           is really cool. I can’t tell what its suppose to represent, but mabye a man breaking free, or just being free. This picture is exciting and refreshing. His clothes are real urban so im guessing he’s a hip hop dancer. It kind of has a water splash effect also. Its really artistic and the photographer and editor, are very talented.

ok so this is a picture of micheal jackson when he was young and old. I feel like the death of micheal jackson was sad. This picture shows how micheal transformed from a young, vibrant, talented singer too an akward, wierd, disturbing man. I grew up listening to micheal jackson with my mom, so even though im young i know alot about him an his music. Its sad how people only remember him because of his wierdness, because he was such a great musician. I feel he will always an idol to every generation and noone can out do his talent.
